Mrs. Cronk

My name is Deanne Cronk and I am an alumni of Bennett. Once a Tiger, always a Tiger!   I have worked in the district for 21 years in various roles including, substitute teacher, reading para, 1st grade teacher for 5 years, 2nd grade teacher for 7 years and the past year I have had the opportunity to be the Title 1 Coordinator and Interventionist for K-5.  As an interventionist, I thrive on supporting our teachers and our students on providing researched based interventions and strategies that keep our students growing.  In Bennett Primary and Intermediate school we use SIPPS (Systematic Instruction in Phonological Awareness, Phonics, and Sight Words), CR Success and Read 180 as our intervention programs.

Personally, my husband and I grew up in Bennett and have 3 children and 1 son-in-law.  Our kids are 3rd generation Tigers. We have loved raising our children in this small town and sharing and comparing stories of our school days as a Tiger.  Our school and town have really undergone a lot of changes over the years and I am excited to be a part of this change and grow right alongside our town and school.
